American-type Compact Substation

The American-type compact substation integrates the transformer body, high-voltage load switch and fuses within the transformer oil tank. Bringing these primary components together reduces the space required for their arrangement, making the unit an option for projects with limited installation area.

The fully insulated, sealed construction supports outdoor solar PV and power distribution applications. An enclosure protection rating of IP54 is available for the stated product configuration; the enclosure, cable entries and installation details should be matched to the project requirements.

Selection should consider electrical capacity, voltage ratio and site access alongside the physical dimensions and installed weight. For floating PV projects or installations on load-limited platforms, platform loading, support arrangements and environmental protection need to be evaluated for the actual unit.
