European-Type Prefabricated Substation up to 35 kV

This European-type prefabricated substation brings voltage transformation and protection into a coordinated package for wind farms, solar PV plants, energy storage systems and urban distribution networks. It can be configured for step-up or step-down service to suit the project’s electrical design.

The dry-type transformer avoids the transformer-oil leakage risk associated with oil-immersed designs. This makes it an option for projects where oil containment is a concern, including sites near water sources, farmland and scenic areas. Site-specific environmental and fire requirements still form part of the selection process.

Protection, condition monitoring, data acquisition and remote operation can be included in the project configuration. The equipment arrangement and interfaces can be matched to the required voltage ratio, capacity and operating scheme, providing a defined basis for site installation and connection.
